We've had a right royal day celebrating tomorrow's Royal Wedding. The children dressed in red, white and blue for the day and the whole school had a special Street Party dinner in the sunshine. We would like to thank the families who made sure their children were dressed to impress and supported us in donating money today for the Y6 Prom. We would also like to thank Devonshire and P&A staff for their help in preparing such a special day. Who else will be in 'tiers' watching the ceremony?
Thank you to everybody who donated to 'Save the Children' for Preschool's 'Peppa Pig Muddy Puddle Walk'. We think we found as many puddles as Peppa would like and we raised £25.68!
It is estimated that by 2050, our oceans will contain more plastic than fish by weight! As a result of the 'Blue Planet' television program, Year 5 have been looking at 'Plastic Pollution' in their Geography lessons. Today Class 5D helped to clear 12 bags of plastic and litter from the beach! Well done for playing a part in the protection of our oceans and wildlife!
